This package has been developed for enthusiasts swapping out a powered AZ3 jumpseat (middle front row bench seat) with a used D07 full center console.
Why do I need the whole kit when I already have a charger?
The center console that you purchased probably already has a factory wireless phone charging module attached. Great, right? Unfortunately, not. There is no way to make this module functional as for it not only requires power and ground, but also serial data communication from the LAN system on the original truck. Adding these lines is not a feasable option. The good news is that our kit includes a brand new GM wireless phone charging module that does NOT require a LAN communications line and mates perfectly to our harness offered in this kit.
What do I need to know about installation?
Once you have removed your factory bench seat, you will need to remove the harness from it. You will add our harness to this harness with a simple one connector hookup. Then you can take your "new" full console and remove the harness that may have come on it. You will then replace the existing phone charger module with the one in our kit. Then simply install your newly adapted original bench seat harness to the console hooking up only the items that your actual vehicle is looking for.
Why do I have extra things on the console that are not being plugged in?
The vehicle that the console was originally installed in may have more sensors/options than your actual truck. You will not be plugging anything into those, as for you only need to hook up what your truck is looking for from the factory.
