Also note: These vehicles, including the 2016 models, are now up to 10 years old. If your CUE® display assembly has not been previously replaced, there is a risk that unplugging, moving, or powering the screen during installation may cause it to fail. Older screens are prone to issues and may not turn back on. We are not responsible for any such failures. However, we do offer replacement display assemblies at a significant discount if needed.

📌 Disclaimer – Feature Functionality:
Some SMS and voice recognition functions from older systems may have limited or reduced functionality after the upgrade. The newer systems rely on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for these features.

Due to changes in part numbers, some upgraded systems may display an “App Store” icon. This icon is non-functional on vehicles built before 2017, as the system architecture does not support it.

Steering wheel control behavior may also change when using Apple or Android devices. The voice command button will not activate Siri or Google Assistant—instead, those must be triggered via the touchscreen. Volume and track controls generally work with Apple devices, while Android compatibility may vary by device. All essential functions remain accessible from the touchscreen interface.
